Bright Aspect is a new vocal work for soprano, harp, and cello, written in collaboration with writer and researcher Claire Holdsworth. The work was commissioned by Ensemble Lyrix for their recent Obscura project—a staged song-recital directed by Sarah Scherer that brings contemporary vocal music together with movement, lighting, costume, and storytelling.

The newly formed Swiss-based trio, featuring Nora Bertogg (soprano), Isabel Goller (harp), and Zoltan Despond (cello), premiered the piece on 30 August 2025 at the Pavillion Stockargut in Zürich. The group then took the project on tour, with subsequent performances at the Regulakirche in Chur on 31 August and the Casa Cultura Ringel in Trin on 6 September.
